Levine Jewish Community Center

Jewish Family Services
Founded in 1980, Jewish Family Services has grown from supporting Jewish Russian immigrants, seniors, and those in financial need to offering a wide range of counseling and social services for the entire Greater Charlotte community.
We provide integrated social services to individuals of all ages, religions, and socio- economic backgrounds, equipping them with the tools and support needed to achieve self-reliance and well-being.
Our programs and services are made possible through the generous contributions of donors, the Jewish Federation of Greater Charlotte, insurance reimbursements, client fees, and the dedication of volunteers who generously share their time and expertise.

PJ Library
Created by the Harold Grinspoon Foundation, The PJ Library (“PJ” for “pajamas”) program offers the gift of FREE, high-quality Jewish books and music each month to families raising Jewish children ages birth through 8.5 years in the greater Charlotte area. Signing up is easy!

Shalom Green
Shalom Green is a group of Jewish community volunteers dedicated to promoting an understanding of Jewish environmental values. Shalom Green is united in its commitment to sustainability and is energized to take meaningful action to preserve and protect Creation through its three primary goals: to REDUCE the carbon footprint of Shalom Park facilities, to MAINTAIN the Shalom Park Community Garden, and to EDUCATE the community about environmental issues.
